Car dies, Damon quits his job and Hal is trying to save his hair...Party
Hello again...so after the Car fiasco, I thought that a night out would be lovely...and NO, WE DID NOT GO TO THE DRESDEN! Also, I didn't have to drive... :) I definitely should have eaten more as I awoke with a pretty solid headache the next morning...but anyway...
We went to a really cool bar called "Birds" - which actually has a birdcage in it. Hmmm, now boys...if you are straight: Don't dance inside the birdcage! There is no way that you won't look gay. I'm just sayin! Dancing on the bar however, completely acceptable. Sadly, I missed my friend Damon's excursion on the bar...but perhaps next time I will be so lucky. :)
Victoria in the News...
So, let me tell you a story people. It was Friday afternoon around 4:30pm when I happily left work. I noticed that my car was idling very high...now I take pretty good care of my car aka "Kelly" so I was surprised to find that the oil was low. I refilled it and decided to get home. Well, along the way, I noticed that the car was acting very strange and then began to smoke. So, I pulled over on a very nice street in Beverly Hills and took all the necessary steps. I let it cool off, and once again the oil was empty. Hmm anyone noticing a pattern? So, I decided to try and make it to a gas station. This was unsuccessfull as the temperature steadily climbed back to Hot within three minutes. So, now the car was really smoking and I was on a very busy street trying to get over. A man in the car next to me said "Hey your car is smoking" to which I replied "Yes, I know, could you please let me over so I can get into that parking lot?" He started to laugh and then DIDN'T LET ME OVER! Ah so nice...anyway, I made it a few more meters before the car completely died. Yeah, I was in one of the busiest intersection in all of West LA while the people went apeshit! Apparently, if you honk and scream at the person it makes the car start again. Did they really think that I was just taking a break from driving? So, my car is smoking, in the middle of the intersection and I was pretty much trapped inside the car...since others were trying to get by. Finally, a Limo Driver stopped and he and his passenger ended up getting out to help me move over. They stopped traffic for me...now that was very nice. So, when the Tow Truck showed up, the driver informed me that I made the news! YEA, my LA debut! Luckily, it was nothing too serious and I already have my car back from the shop...hmm very dramatic though huh?
P.S. for those of you who care: it was just that a hose basically disintegrated which caused the coolant to leak...

Victoria Working?
That's right folks, I am currently "working" at UCLA. Now, if you're in touch with me daily you know that my "work" involves a lot of emailing. "Working" has opened the door to better communication with my friends all over the US and Europe. :) Perhaps I should thank my lovely Austrian boss (seriously, almost all of the people I work with are Austrian) for giving me "catch up" time with all of you. :)
To prove that I really am at work, I have included a picture of me inside my closet...umm I mean office. Do I look a bit sleepy there?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
So it begins....
EEEEEWWWWW GREGGIE! DRUNKARDS! :)
Okay, I know these three, but who's "THAT" guy?
YEA for the anniversary of my 22nd birthday! :) I enjoyed four solid nights of Birthday Celebrations, but unfortunatly only have pictures of one! So, here's the re-cap of the Birthday week:
Tuesday Night: The Usual Dresden evening...catch up on life with Hal.
Wednesday Night April 5th: Went out for my Austrian Birthday...enjoying Beer and Quesadillas at the Westwood Brewery near UCLA. Here's the theory: I was born at 5:30am in Vienna, Austria, so if you were to call at that moment, it would have been 8:30pm in Los Angeles CA...hence the Birthday has commenced!
Thursday April 6th: The ACTUAL birthday :) Enjoyed dinner and playing pool with my friend Rafa who was visiting from New York! Lovely evening and was completely humbled playing pool..other than the one game I won! Pure Luck! Also got a huge surprise of ipod HiFi speakers! Holy balls, the bass is amazing! ** CORRECTION: I WON TWICE! WOOHOO!
Friday April 7th: (Pictures included!) Went to my usual hangout "The Dresden" hmm is it safe to say that on the Internet? I had a great time that night drinking vodka/cranberry's aka Cape Codder and kamikaze shots (oy I'm little!) . It was amusing because for the first hour and fifteen min it was just my friend Hal and I (who wasn't feeling very well) but then suddenly Rachel, Mike, Greg, Eric and Mathias all showed up within 15 minutes of each other...though we had met some random people who were sharing our table (they were very nice and invited us over). The evening ended with us going to Hal's for a bit of a night cap...Thank you for everyone who came!!! And because I know this question is coming: Nope, not dating any of them!
Saturday April 8th: I was invited to the Magic Castle! Now, when I heard the words "magic Castle" I though it sounded a bit cheesy, but it's actually pretty cool. Attire is formal and the atmosphere is quite secretive. There are passwords to get through corridors and everywhere you turn there is a bar and magic acts! It's actually really cool because you are so close to them and yet it doesn't get any easier to figure it all out. Though I tried...apparently after a few drinks I get a bit interactive...hung out with some of the magicians at bar close though which was great. One of them(Flip) had just won the equivalent of an Oscar for Magic....
Sunday April 9th: Attended the Malibu Film Festival with my friend Mathias (also from Austria) whose Brother shot the movie "Zen & Zero". The cinematography was amazing!!!! Basically a surfer movie with amazing shots...has re-motivated me to learn! Needless to say I was exhausted by Sunday night and got to get up at 5:30am for work! Woohoooo...how do you all do that everyday? Yikes...The nights out have continued through last night (Friday) for which I decided just to take the freakin night off...Balls, I was tired!!!!
Wow, I think this is my longest post ever! Hmmm, hopefully you didn't get bored reading it!!!!
Night out again tonight so will hopefully take some pics (the camera is back in my bag at all times...think I needed a break for a while)! Possibly going to San Francisco next weekend, then to Minnesota for Rayna's Baptism! More soon!

APRIL 6th is upon us very very soon. You all know what that means...it's my BIRTHDAY! :) Sooo, you all have 3 shopping days remaining...of course I will accept packages mailed on the actual day...though I think that anything late should incur a penalty of a second gift. :) Heehee...just kidding...I'm really not that High Maintenance.
