Protest on Wilshire...

On the 1st of May, there were massive boycotts and protests happening in the LA Area. For what you ask? Well, rather than me explaining it, perhaps you should read the paper or watch the news...'cause there hasn't been a lack of coverage. :) It was a pretty amazing atmosphere though. Completely peaceful and more of a festival than anything else. There were people singing, chanting, dancing...it was actually quite fun to witness.
When I awoke from my nap on Monday afternoon I wondered why a helicopter kept circling my building...I pretty much figured that it was some fugitive on the loose ('cause that happens around here sometimes) alas, it was that half a million people were walking down the street nearby. :)

Family time and Baptism....

Don't I look like such a good girl in that photo?

My purpose for going to Minnesota was that my niece Rayna was getting baptized. :) She is twice the size (literally) than the last time I saw her and so beautiful! :) So, the pictures can tell the story...

Back in MN...Ladies night!!!

Eyes open Woman!!!! :)

Hmm, what to mention about this night out and what not to mention...that is the question. :) It was a lovely evening of chatter at Solara's in downtown Minneapolis with a visit to SexWorld to end the evening. Perhaps that's all I should say on that one. And does anyone notice that I wear my black hoodie a lot? Hmmm, time for some new clothes I think! ;)

My Twin was in LA!

My lovely twin Sarah was visiting LA whilst on a mini tour with Corinne Chapman. Corinne is a country/folk artist from Nashville with whome Sarah has collaborated on several songs and now supports Corinne on Gigs ranging from Nashville to LA. Sarah has always had an amazing voice and the two of them sounded absolutely amazing together! Really, if they are ever playing near you, do check them out. Their songs are really catchy - I'm still singing "wonderin'" and the gig was a week ago! So you can check Corinne's myspace page or go to her website. :) Sorry the pics aren't better...lighting conditions were tricky! No comment from my brother Steve on that one please!
