Melanie and Tom's Wedding

The Ceremony and Reception

My beautiful Cousin, Melanie married Tom on December 3, 2005. I just want to wish them the best of luck in their life together and say CONGRATULATIONS! The Ceremony was lovely as my Mom and Dad played the processional (they're musicians by the way) . The entire evening was beautiful. 325 people joined them in the Avalon Reception Hall and danced most of the night. :) The best part of the evening for me though was after everyone had left we met up at the hotel. It was 1:30am and a few people including the bride and groom, sat in a small room eating pizza and actually got a chance to chat. It was so nice to actually have time to talk with them and hang out. Some of my most favourite people were there, including Nate and his lovely girlfriend Alicia, my brother Steve, cousins Melanie, Tom, Abby, Heather and Paul...Sadly my other brother Randy and his wife Jenn couldn't make it to the wedding. We missed them but hopefully the 300 pictures we have will show them everything. Here are just a few pics....

A trip to Fargo...for a Wedding

I must admit that living in LA, I have become quite spoiled by the weather. As I arrived in Minneapolis at 6am, the temperature outside was 6 degrees Fahrenheit! Hmm, slight shock. It got worse,as the temperature never went up as we travelled north to Fargo, North Dakota. We did "sightsee" in Fargo for about an hour...which consisted of a Theater and a few shops...it's pretty funny because on a map of attractions, it listed the police department, city hall and the court house. Interesting...maybe we should have just caused some trouble on the streets and we would have seen them from the inside. At least it would have been warmer. Instead, we sat in a warm coffee shop before heading back to the hotel. Next up...the Wedding of Melanie and Tom!

It's been waaaay too long!

Hello my friends! So, after a month of excitement (and down time) I'm back to update. :) I really will have internet soon in my apartment which will make these much more consistent. My brother the rock n' roll star has been really good about posting pictures but I thought I would post a few as well.
The Rock n Roll Star and my friends Thomas and Veronika visited me for a few days! It was such a great time. Quite a few late nights, a day of Rain, a live taping of the Craig Ferguson show, a Producers "meet and greet", Universal Studios (they went while I was shooting a film), Griffith Park, Santa Monica, Venice Beach, a play, and random walks around Korea Town and Cher's House(just kidding)....twas lovely! Check out the full story on Steve's blog:

To Tommy, Veronika and Steve : Thank you soooo much coming out to visit. You have made this crazy place feel a little more like home for me and I will miss you sooo much! I have to say that it was one of the best vacations I've ever had. :)

More to come soon!!!

Thank you!!

I just wanted to say Thank you to our lovely Family in California...twas lovely spending time with you and we'll see you again soon!!!

Also, Mama - I miss you already!

More Mariposa...

Dixie the Doggie...Mama in the Sunshine

Yup, that's a Tarantula...right outside of the Car...welcome to the ranch! :)

Mama and Auntie Di

Jacqueline and I...she's strong!

Cousin Patty with Doc

We not only spent time on the Ranch however...It was quite the family affair with Auntie Diane, Cousins and even 2nd Cousins - that are the same height as me (Ms. Jacqueline). It was great to see them! I thought I would post some random family shots...dogs count...as do Tarantulas...

Ranch Girl...

This past weekend my Mom visited me! We spent the first day touring LA by car and just took it easy...but then it started! We drove approx. 5 hours to Mariposa, CA near Yosemite which was absolutely beautiful. Okay, so driving through Fresno is nothing to brag about, but once past all that it steadily climbs up into the mountains. We spent the weekend on a real ranch...I mean Llamas, Goats, Horses, Dogs, Cats, Pigs, Cow, Coyotes...amazing Stars at night and me throwing Hay to the horses...It's quite different riding a horse on a Ranch through the hills. I was used to riding at a stable where the horses are ready to go and they pretty much know what to do...It was amazing actually feeling like I was a Cowgirl...

Victoria the Mason?

So, NYC has an amazing program every year called "open House NY" where they do just that. They open the doors to many private homes and museums so the public can view them for free. Most of the Architectural Sites but one of them was the Masonic Lodges of NY. They're all located in one building which each lodge having a different theme. Some of them are really cool and others tended to be a bit plain. Intersting though as they had Masons answering questions...though I don't know if "We can't tell you that" is an answer to a question. Quite secretive...Oh and it rained the entire time we were out...ah it's the lovely east coast! :)

A night out in Hollywood...

Cruising in a Mustang Convertible down Hollywood Blvd. and then an early breakfast at Denny's (Yeah, I didn't feel very well after that). :) Cassy, Steve and Jonah in the pic with me. :) Photos from my first LA film hopefully coming soon! Love, Victoria

Man Eating...

random shots from the car and wandering :)

"The Valley", "The Grove", "The Road"....

My neighborhood! :)

I live in Korea Town...yup it's exactly that. It's really great actually...there are a lot of good restaurants and the people are nice...and hey, there are palm trees everywhere! Here's a little history: Korea Town is actually "old Hollywood" where stars such as Nat King Cole lived...

Wow, it's been a long time...and Hollywood Bowling

Hello everyone! I've really fallen behind on posting pictures and things...though I've had some computer issues which definitely makes it a bit tough. I've been back in LA for a week now, after a lovely visit back to NY. Yeah, it rained the entire time I was there! Funny, it actually rained in LA today...hey, I didn't sign up for that! :)

A random Wednesday evening with my LAMDA friends Greg and Hal. A lovely bowling alley in Hollywood where it costs as much to drink a beer as it does to bowl. :)

Hola!

Hello my lovely friends! Sorry I've been a bit out of touch, but I do have some new photos to post! Had my first convertible ride down Hollywood Blvd, went to a Short film Screening at Improv Olympic, hiked up Runyon Canyon - saw the fires, had my auditions...life is good. I'm heading back to NY next Thursday but I'll post the pics later on this evening! Just wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten. :)
